Haven't measured it all over but the trailer is 42' so needless to say, a little consideration in where you're going to park is in order. I've had trailers for a long time and it seems every time we go to an RV park, someone wants to "guide us in".
Other than making sure I'm not too far back (even though I have a camera on the rear integrated into my Nav) I'm quite capable of backing it in myself. About a month ago, I had this elderly man insist on helping me and I politely ignored him. He took it upon himself to step on the inside of my rear wheel and reach over my rear fender to unhook the brake cable.
Needless to say, I had a 7" scratch from his belt buckle on the fender of my new truck.
All I can say to him is he's lucky I own a body shop. Mind yer own damn business people. If I need help, I'll be the first one to ask for it.

Finally got our trailer
Finally got our trailer. Dealer did a good job making sure PDI went smooth. No problems yet. Spent two nights in it at home just to make sure there are no major issues on our first trip.

The camera was obviously mounted on the top rear. The cable was ran all the way up front and comes out where the plug for your 5th wheel is. My stereo guy installed a connector on the bed side so when the trailer is attached, I just plug that cable in and when it's not, I plug another cable which is connected to a camera on the toolbox so I can back my gooseneck ball under the gooseneck.
All of this is done by using a Lockpic interface into the factory stereo/nav screen.

KOA campground at Lyman Wy. Nice quite great stop over if traveling in that area.
Parked at Swan Lake Bible Camp in Viberg S.D. My wifes sister is in charge of all food preparation there.

I have been a GM man since I was old enough to drive. When I bought a 5th wheel, I decided I needed a dually so I sold my H2 (with a duramax in it) and bought a 2007 GMC HD3500.
The truck was great but when it turned 100K, it needed rear main seals and head gaskets. I was shocked!
I traded it in for a brand new 2013 HD 3500 Denali. I drove it for 2 months and the damn vibration from that truck drove me nuts. The passenger seat would vibrate, the tailgate would shake in the rear view mirror, you could feel it in the seat of your pants.
I found a 117 page thread on a diesel forum of guys that had done EVERYTHING to fix the vibration.... driveshafts, one piece, two piece, rear ends, pinion angles, tires, trans, you name it. Even GM added a hydraulic mount under the cab in 2011 (can you say band-aid) to help but it didn't.
I've been wrenching on cars since I was 17 and I know better that if all those people can't fix the vibration, I sure as hell wasn't going to be able to. I traded that brand new truck in on a 2014 F-350
I couldn't be happier. Ford really has their stuff together. The truck is ergonomically correct, has the right storage, right equipment, the fit and finish is fantastic. I love this truck.
The gas mileage is less than I'd like but with a bit of a lift (few inches) and bigger tires, that is somewhat expected. I don't care, the 6.7 pulls my 20K trailer straight up a hill and doesn't hesitate at all.
Great choice in trucks!
