Most of the places I go to I could never get a rig that's that big into them.

As you see I hung out into the road a bit at this KOA.

Devils Tower KOA used to advertise they were the oldest KOA. I've seen that in our old home movies from the 80's. Do they still advertise that? It was then, and looks like it still is, a nice place.

No didn't see that. Devils Tower is the oldest National Monument maybe that's what you are remembering. I think the oldest KOA is in Billings MT.

From KOA, Billings was first. However, this pic, taken as a screen shot from our trip there in 1990 (camera date incorrect) or so, says they were the first "franchised" KOA. Perhaps they are no longer the current franchisees. Truthfully, until I looked at this shot, I always thought they were the FIRST. I guess I didn't see the fine print!

Say Goodbye to the Little Guy

Today we sadly traded in our little 96 Dodge Dakota, and joyously bought a 2012 Nissan Titan. We won't have any trouble towing now, and can even dream of updating the Coleman, after the Titan is paid off! The Dakota has been a great TV!

Howdy All,

Just got the new toy hauler a month ago, haven't had time to take a first trip with it yet but will be dragging it to central Kansas and back to Washington in a couple of weeks.

Nice upgrade to the Titan!

We went vehicle shopping the other day... bought a Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Decided to keep our 2003 F150 for a couple more years. It is down at the upholstery shop have the seats repaired.

Your F150's got 10 more years in it! The new upholstery will make it seem new again!
As to a hybrid - We haven't even explored that. After the camper and Titan are paid off, that might be a good replacement for the wife's car. Too far off to tell! See you on the road!
