You have a real beauty of a unit....pardon my ignorance....what is the "TrailAir" on the pin of your trailer?

TrailAir is a rubber, air filled tube between the pin and the pin box. A fifth wheeled vehicle will jerk and chuck when a rough surface is encountered. Concrete highways, bridge approaches and rough surfaces will transmit this to the truck. The air filled tube absorbs these shocks and dampens the chucking. The shock absorber works with the tube to keep from totally squishing the tube.
We don't look like Weeble People when running concrete road with nasty expansion joints.
The TrailAir takes the brunt of the shocks and helps the fifth wheel last longer and helps keep the wear and tear on the drive line of the truck down from all this jerking.
