more space
For those who find the Dirt Devil in the middle of the storage area, taking up room, move it to the side under the stairs, I picked up more storage space

I want to do this...Catalytic heat

The one in the living area is a free standing.
When traveling they ride together in the garage. Piggy backed together. It takes less than a minute to setup and take down the free standing heater.
I now don't have to listen to my batteries being depleted on a cold winter night. There is absolutely no smell off of these heaters. I borrowed a friends Blue Flame Mr Heater and used it for one night. There was a definite odor it made.
I do not worry about dying in my sleep with these heater either. I have used the same heater in my truck camper for the last 10 years, only it is a smaller 3000 BTU unit. Never a problem.
In the process I also plumber in a BBQ quick connect so that bottle of propane by the BBQ is a thing of the past.
I won't be so excited about these heaters when it turns summer time there in Arizona.

Where did you T into the main propane line at for the two additional lines (living area and garage units)? From the garage that is a long run of propane line...?
thanks

How did you backlight the control panel? i just got my 3605, used it 2 days in the mountains and this is a must.. (should be a factory item)..in addition i have a 'light switch' to the left of my control panel...that doesn't seem to do anything.. ideas? ( i figured they were planning to put a light in the pantry above the control panel..but didn't....)

Peak bagger, On my 3605 that rocker switch controlls the awning led lights. Gives it power so you can control by remote control if you choose. Hope this helps.

Same thing on my V3605 powers the LED awning lights.

i'll have to go check on mine, so you are saying it is a 'master' power control just for the led lights? Seems strange as one of the control panel 'security light' toggles the led awning lights off and on. i didn't get a remote...i guess i can ask for one

If you think it LOOKS cheesey, try operating it... more times than not I want to throw that thing as far as I can but the wife loves the "mood" lighting...

first mod I did was move the control board for linc pad from down low to up high near the top of the cabinet, this gave more options for moving batteries to the back of the cabinet, adding an air compressor or pressure washer, and my tool box and socket set.

battery box made from 3/4" ply wood, holds 2 12 volt batteries, I had 2 6 volts, but froze and split sitting at dealership waiting for repairs. Top not sealed properly yet, need to lift the hydraulic 2", then a solid piece of plywood will cover and seal off the box with room for 2 new 6 volt's. Doing this has allowed me create more room for tool box, cable locks for the quads, and a pressure washer or air compressor. I'm going to Napa and get longer positive and negative cables made for the genset to battery connection, and then I can tuck them out of the way.
I also screwed down a 3/4" aluminum angle iron to store a portable propane fire pit on top of the genset shrowd. quite handy that bit of room is up there, I also store the tiger torch for campfire lighting, and a mesh grill for cooking over the fire.

traded out the solid 18K hitch for a 21K trailair, the ride is a 100 times smoother. No more jarring Picked it up on buy and sell ( www.kijiji.ca) for $600. At that price I was not going to haggle one penny. New they are $1500 at dealership.

Looks good! Only one word of caution for you in raising the hydraulics. Be sure you can still fit a drill on top in case your pump motor ever goes so that you manually run your jacks. I had to change my battery box design for 4-6V batteries on mine due to this concern.

Installed the EMS Surge Protector with a second remote panel. Long over due mod but waited until the basement rebuild in order to get the best layout of componenets for my needs. Once the basement "remodel" is complete all wire will be loomed and tied up.
