No the wires are there and you just have to move it to where you want it, the hoses may need to be cut shorter….you will be thinking of moving other things, once you open the walls, others have moved wiring, hoses, etc. Have fun, I plan on moving a few other things….Sorry I didn't get back to you, was driving….

Control Panel Backlight
Awhile ago I copied a mod from a member to back light the control panel. My first try was very dim. No picture was posted as to how the others were doing it so here it is - worked great. At the top you can see half of my magnetic switch I use to turn the lights on and off by opening and closing the cabinet door.

Basement remodel
Finished up the basement remodel this weekend. Installed a 3100 watt Magnum Inverter system (still need to install the Automatic Generator Start system components, but have time before I need that done). Moved a lot of stuff around (transfer switch from floor to wall, secured and moved the subwoofer, moved the central vac so that I can get to the bags without climbing in to the basement (removed over 3 feet of excess hose - great suction now). Removed the paltry framing and replaced with all aluminum beefy enought to suport the 46 pound inverter. First three pics are of the inverter itself. 4th is the OEM solution that Dutchmen deemed appropriate. 5th is with the sub removed and 6th is with the central vac removed.

Basement remodel 4
1st - Completed basement walls - note that I did find several furnace heater hoses at the plenum loose - so there was plenty of retaping done.
2nd - moved the lower strut mounts up on the inner wall in order to get the door to open as wide as possible without interferring with the awning arms.
3rd - Just over three feet of extra vacuum hose was cut out of the system - much better performance now - we were able to take the small portable vac out of the coach now as it is no longer needed.

Donzinger - Do your basement doors swing up??? My 3200 basement and propane doors swing horizontal like a regular door. My front storage/generator compartment swings up and fuel door and the small storage compartment on the opposite side swing down.

DR Buck - the curb side basement door and the front generator compartment doors swing up, all others except the fuel compartment door swing side to side. The fuel compartment door swings down.

I did what I think as a mod.
I installed a sliding screen door on sliding door between galley and garage. Purchased from Metro ScreenWorks it came unassembled. Under $100.
Size 31 1/8" x 71 1/2"

I just purchased a 2013 35ft Voltage V3005 5th Wheel Toy Hauler a week ago & had started some mods ... Big step up from a 1993 19 ft tongue pull trailer.
Sitting at the computer the other night, I found this forum & this thread. There are some dang nice mods some of you are doing and a couple I will be duplicating as soon as I get around to them.
It's been raining here for a couple weeks & one day I walked into the garage area & thought, "If I was camping & had a wet rain coat on, where would I hang it ??"
So, I thought I would share the first mod I did in the toy hauler garage to hang coats. And then, I decided to make it so I can keep my tables out there, store my ladders, the table legs, as well coats & hats.
I used the Rubbermaid "Fast Track" system for this mod. Most of the Fast Track brackets I used are for hanging a bike on. What I did, I would cut one leg off & bend the other one to hold whatever I wanted it to hold.
The inside table stores behind the walk thru door & a Fast Track bracket I'm using to hang coats keeps the door from banging into the table.
Here's a few pics ....

Nice mods Gunny. I have a glass sliding door and don't have that much forward wall space in my 3200 to do anything like that. I mounted 2 coat hooks on the wall to the left of the rear walk thru door (to the right of where the washer-dryer hook ups are). They are hidden by my garage mounted TV that is above the washer-dryer hook ups. I also mounted small fold -down truck bed tie-downs on the wall where you mounted you ladder. They hold my table top and ladder in place.

Did you not have one from the factory? My door had one installed already.

Thanks DR Buck ... yup, sliding glass doors would definitely make it tougher to do what I did for sure. But it sounds like you figured out a way to hang some coats & store your table top & ladder anyway !!

Hey Gunny, That looks like a sweet set up, I wish too that I had free real estate in my garage too, I have a 3605, with a bathroom in the garage and a swinging door from the coach into the garage, the side walls are littered with windows too, so to hang the bunk ladder on the driverside wall is all the space I have ( between the bunks and a side window). I guess I will have to keep travelling with tables under the bed for a while longer. Keep on keeping on!

How did you wire the one near the bed? Did you pull the light out and use the hot and common there (wire in parallel) ?
