I have decided that I would like to move the batteries one more time, I will put them both against the frame rail, instead of side by side. my air compressor is just a smidge wider than I have room for, It should fit. As far as venting goes, I'm in search of a vent horn for the hose, or cut the top of a vented battery box off where the hose attaches to it and screw and silicone it to the plywood to seal off, right now with the pump in the way, I had to notch the wood lid to slide under it.
I transported an open range residential 416RLS the other day, and the batteries were in a tray cut into the floor of the compartment, and left the entire storage area empty. I have a welder neighbor that could help out. that might be the best route yet.

Today I installed two 12v receptacles one in the bedroom slide next to the light switch, second under the sconce light next to the bed on the road side.

This is a mod I need to do. The ability to access the bag without half climbing up into the compartment would be worth the time to do this.

Once you take the walls down, you will see that there is room to move it. The first photo is where the wall was, 2nd photo shows how it looks with the Vac off to the left.
Also once you open the walls, you will see other things to move....Good luck

RVNevada - My 2012 3200 does not have the wall near that far into the compartment. I can reach the vacuum standing and just leaning in.

RVNEVADA: Wow. That is an amazing amount of room you discovered! Makes you wonder why the manufacturer would allow the vac to occupy that much real estate in the basement. I will check mine to see if this is possible. I have a 2012 V 3600 and the basement is always full. The extra room would be great! Did you have to relocate or reroute any electrical lines or other items that were hidden behind that wall?

I just got a couple from Amazon, need to get them installed. I plan on putting one outside too... eventually.

The only problem I have with the USB is they have an LED in them, need to see if it can be killed or not. I like the Blue Sea stuff the best, it seems to be one of the best made ones out there.

baggage door latches
Got tired of the wind slamming the doors either shut or all the way open into the body so put these on both sides. The left side is positioned to latch both the the wet closet door and the propane closet door. The exterior refer door is next.

I'm sure they are avaliable all over the place online. I happened to get the two pack from General RV when I was in there last week. Just be sure to apply some silicone to the screws when you install and also silicon the top/sides.

Very nice job on all your mods, I would like to install a max air -fantastic fan in the rear garage. From what I have seen posted here people are pulling power from the rear bed motor. Any suggestions? We are traveling this summer with our dog and don't want to run the air conditioning and generator till we get near our destinations. Also donzinger if you are ever passing by my house ,feel free to stop in for a visit,be nice to chat in person.

I can't make a suggestion on the fan as mine came with one installed...I'll have to do that and swing by one of these days!

The one in the living area is a free standing.
When traveling they ride together in the garage. Piggy backed together. It takes less than a minute to setup and take down the free standing heater.
I now don't have to listen to my batteries being depleted on a cold winter night. There is absolutely no smell off of these heaters. I borrowed a friends Blue Flame Mr Heater and used it for one night. There was a definite odor it made.
I do not worry about dying in my sleep with these heater either. I have used the same heater in my truck camper for the last 10 years, only it is a smaller 3000 BTU unit. Never a problem.
In the process I also plumber in a BBQ quick connect so that bottle of propane by the BBQ is a thing of the past.
I won't be so excited about these heaters when it turns summer time there in Arizona.

Hey Arlan,
Would you please explain your installation method for the garage heater? How did you run the propane line, where did you connect it to the main line? etc. i need to do this mod asap! thanks so much.

What LED strips did you use? Just tied into the stair light already present?

$29 LED strips in the automotive section at Walmart. Yes, so the original switch would work.
Removed the amber lights and the 3M connectors, cut the wires at the front step (they loop there and head to the rear) and used heat-shrink crimp connectors. The wires on the LED strips are very small, so I just pulled them through the connector, inserted the larger wire and crimped them. Positive wire on my V3605 was white w/ red stripe.
LED strips have 3M tape backing.
