Not sure if this will help folks remember this, but I think of a flashlight...usually with a bulb that is higher voltage than a single battery (all batteries, except the rectangular battery (AA, AAA, C and D cell), are 1.5 volt). A 2 battery flashlight uses a 3 volt bulb. So, obviously the voltage has increased using the serial wiring scheme (additive). So, the + pole of the bottom battery touches the - pole of the upper battery and the bulb is connected to the top + pole of the upper battery and the - pole of the lower battery completing the circuit. So, 2X1.5 volts provides the needed 3 volts for the bulb (so, a serial connection is additive). Parallel is easy to remember as it can be thought of as putting two batteries side by side with both facing the same direction and then connecting the two - poles and the two + poles (parallel connections)...no addition of voltage...just a longer lasting battery. So, wire two 1.5 batteries in parallel, and you still have a 1.5 volt battery, but with double the capability to provide power for a longer period of time.

Mod no one has done
Before buying the Voltage we had a Teton 5th wheel & a living quarters horse trailer. Living quarters horse trailer has nowhere the space the Teton has. Can't take my scooter or a horse in the Teton. Wife said I wish they made something that you could put in a toyhauler so you could carry a horse. Well they do. So sold the horse trailer & bought the Voltage. Bought the "Stable Boy" & installed it this past weekend.
ATTACH]1394[/ATTACH]
Unit is all pinned together & comes out in about 1/2 a hour. Only thing left after removing is 5 flush plates that are mounted in the garage floor. Other thing you can do is remove the right side stall so you can still carry a toy.

Believe you left one step out... you have to remove the horse by product.

That's awesome! Have you transported the horse in there yet? If so, how did the horse like the ride? Your horse is going to make the other horses jealous! Riding in style !!🏇

Big thanks to Arlan in Arizona who's helping me figure out solar panel stuff. I'm working on dual AGM batteries, with 3 solar panels. Possibly an inverter. I want to do all the electrical stuff at once and do it right. Any tips on where to rum the wires down from the roof into the battery compartment on the Voltage 3200? Any other electrical mods that should be done at this time so I'm not having to redo it later on?

That's why it has rubber mats on the floor. Also with the washer option I have a place to connect a hose to wash out those horse by products.

Under HappiJac Storage
With two bikes we needed a place for the helmets, leathers, tie-downs, bungies, covers, and all the other stuff you pack along.
Bought two 15"x15"x48" school lockers, laid them on their sides with the door hinges up, and hung them under the garage dinette. Four bolts/nuts and a couple of spacers. High enough I don't knock my noggin loading the bikes and everything's out of the half-bath so people can actually use it!

Electrical Mod
We wind up camping more with 30amp hookups. With two ac units running and everything else on propane we are right on the ragged edge of 30amps. I took the output from the AC breaker and ran it to a receptacle in the basement. I took the wires to the bedroom ac and ran them to this male plug. Now if the power pole has a 30amp and a 15amp (which a lot do) then I can plug the main plug (adapted to 30amp)into the 30amp receptacle and the bedroom air into the 15amp receptacle and I have enough power left over on the main to run the water heater and fridge.

However, when I soldered wires to the two posts and run wire up to the switches panel area (perhaps 2 feet of wire) and then attach a length of LED lights, the voltage DROPS significantly to less than 6 volts, meaning the LEDs then either don't light, or barely light. Surely there is not enough power being used by the LEDs, so why the significant voltage drop? I had good solder joints and wouldn't think that 2 feet of fairly thin gauge wire to be behind the voltage drop. Can anyone with better electrical know-how than I have, explain what is going on and/or what the solution is?

Did you ever figure this out.

In our V3605 next to the stove on the left hand side there are 2 drawers. With some modification wife added space for pots & pans & a knife drawer
Next to the microwave there is another area but not very useful. Wife again added a couple more shelves.

Does anyone have any info & pics of a SaniCon install on a Voltage 3200?

Hmmm...the issue with the LED lighting and low voltage might be because too small a gauge wire was used.
Very small wire works OK for signal transmission, but not for load carrying.
Just a thought.

I think you would need the portable model for 5th wheels & TT. As my V3605 has two dump connections that would be the only way one that would work.
Not on my list, I'll keep doing it like Robin Williams did in RV.

I like the SewerSolution now sold by Valterra.
Looks like the SaniCon is an electric pump. That's OK, but I like the SewerSolution that has a water jet that shreds everything and gives me the ability to turn the jet up the drain piping and rinse the system.

Some people have done a variation of this, all outside the camper. It goes like this. The 50 amp circuit is actually two different 120volt, 25 amp circuits. Different polarity, so there is actually 240 volts between the two "hots." Just like your dryer outlet at home. Most camper usages are 120 volt, so the two "hots" simply become two different 25 amp inputs. I am not recommending this, but some people create an outlet box where the camper 50 amp plug goes into a receptacle on the box. Inside, the two "hots" are each fed to a different plug. One to a single-line 120v 30 amp plug, and the other to a 120V 20 amp plug, as you describe at so many campsites.
The one side is actually "overfed," i.e. a 30 amp circuit feeding a 25 amp circuit, so your camper breaker (a dual breaker) would be the first to trip in an overload. The other side, fed by a 20 amp breaker at the site, would see the campsite 20 amp breaker trip before your 25 amp breaker. A little experimenting will find out which of your devices run off of which side, so you can put the heaviest load on the side fed by the 30 amp plug. FYI, when you buy an adapter that receives your 50 amp plug and converts it to a 30 amp plug, all it is doing is giving you one 30 amp side, and feeds it to both sides. You'll get your devices working, unless they require true 240 volts, but the whole thing will trip your circuit breaker if either side exceeds 25 amps, or if the two combined exceed 30 the camp site breaker will trip.
