Very simple only had to flip hinges the door handle and latch remained same. I added a third hinge to cover old strike plate hole and black putty in in hinge holes. Drilled hole for strike plate. Done
Told my wife about your mod & she said YOU ARE going to do that this weekend end............ Yes dear!

It's probably a safety issue that the door is hung that way at the factory.

I don't think so, it's a unsafe issue! The way the factory mounted it you have to be standing on the step to open or close the door.

Did the same on my V3605 this weekend. Maybe the factor should follow up on this mod & install them this way.

Apparently the factory has now figured out the bathroom door issue. I was in a new 2017 3805 last weekend and the bathroom door is now a pocket door, sliding towards the stairs.

That will work also. You have to wonder what took them so long. If they ever RVed in what they build we wouldn't need to do mods.

My 3805 is an early 2017 year model.
I do not care for pocket doors 🚪.
I can see it fixes the issue !
Better late than never.

This happened today. Currently 21 degrees out and a nice 70 degrees in the garage. Mounted to plywood and strapped to dryer. Easily removed when traveling.

A 20k BTU vent free heater.

Unsure the pic is sideways.

Using an iPhone? IIRC the work around is to save the picture, change the size slightly then it it will post in the correct orientation.

Aw shucks...

I just know where to look for the answers.

Actually the rotated iProduct picture is a known issue with the VBulletin forum software, to the best of my knowledge no one has figured out why it does it. And there are people way above my pay grade working on it.

Outside Shower

The 2951 doesn't come with an outside shower which sucks because we used the one in our old unit all the time. So we decided to put one in.

We picked a spot just above the water heater butting against the floor joist. And then cut a 5.5" square hole. It ended up aligning with a stud in the wall. Then cut the hot and cold water lines to get the T in for the water source. (No pics due to location) All that was left was running the lines and securing the shower box to the camper. Quick job if you have all the right fittings.

Good job! We don't use our outside shower very much, just occasionally to hose the dog off if found a mud puddle before I saw it.

If you will save the pictures to your computer and change the size slightly before posting they will come out right side up. For some reason iPictures don't seem to want to post properly on the vBulletin forum software.

Nice. Nervous making that first plunge cut into the side of your coach? LOL.

It was terrifying. We did not expect the wall to be that thick so the circular saw didn't cut all the way through. But cutting the water lines was probably the worse part.

I normally use tapatalk but it refused to post anything. I had to reset the app.

Gutsy move!
And well done, to boot!

Looking at the chunk of exterior wall in your hand, it suddenly dawned on me that I live in a big oversized Igloo cooler.

Hey those things are almost indestructible, ever seen them laying on the side of the interstates?
