installed a light switch outside of the closet and away from the central command panel, to operate the main row of lights in the trailer. I hate fumbling for the light switch in a dark closet, especially after having a few loud mouth soups

The great Rv designers at Dutchman gave us no way to watch tv in bed to catch the evening news without running on shore power or generator. Tv is not a 12volt unit, so I made it run off a small dc to ac inverter. Tv only consumes 50 watts, so I used a 400watt inverter, and run a power switch in the wall to the inverter in the basement, and a 14/2 cable up to the tv cabinet with a plug in. The second switch is for a 12volt dvd player, the wife likes to watch movies sometimes before bed, and this way now, no need to run genset late at night while quadding and disrupt the neighbors. The cables from the dvd player of course will be tucked up through the frame of the tv cabinet, but never got a pic of it finished yet.

I did the same mod for the living room tv, this one was a little easier to do, more room to work and no fish tape needed for this one, I just tapped into the power for the subwoofer and away I go. If you notice the mess of wires the factory leaves tucked away behind things, this isn't bad, the basement is a nightmare!!!

So then what you watch is local broadcast using the roof top antenna?

Interesting the TV is just above the fireplace and stereo above that?

Our 2014 3800 has two cabinets where your TV is, one with shelves for components and one for the main electrical panel. TV above that. Hmmmm...

Thanks for sharing!

The plug in will run the satellite receiver as well as the tv, it only consumes another 50watts. So either over air tv or satellite. Behind the wall with the tv and fireplace is the back bathroom. The trailer is a V3605. The cabinets are not really what I would call cabinets, they are only 6-7" deep, so the sarelite receiver is about the only thing that fits. Above the stereo is wasted space.

Project Storm Doors

Project 3 season french doors. I am using the Anderson 3000 series french storm doors with self storing retractable screens. Built the Door frame out of 2x1 aluminum. Had a chance to get it all bolted in today. Very happy with how it turned out so far. Very tight tolerances. Hopefully by the end of the week ill have the sheet metal bent and put into place and the doors installed. I will take more pictures when its finished.

Looks great so far! Maybe you can start making frame kits, then we can install them...

Can the patio rails remain in place, or do they need to be removed for this to work?

Thanks. As much fun as that sounds i don't see any production in my future. And yes the rails still fit. I just had them off for more room to work. Holding a very tight tolerance was the hardest part. But i never had to re cut or weld anything. Nice when a plan works out... So far.

Tool Box Mod To Create 1/2 Bath

Installed a sink in the top area of my tool box for weekend garage guest(s). Along with a portapotty we now have two bathrooms when we need them. Only lost one drawer in the tool box. Pretty much had to rebuild the wall behind the box to rearrange the washing machine plumbing and heat duct. Replaced the TV cabinet and TV while I was in there!
Actually saw it on Pinterest and it worked out for our needs!

Great Mod 07dmax360!!

I have a 2016 3605 and have been toying with the exact same idea for the bedroom. I already have a 1500W inverter in the garage. How hard was it to get the fish the 2 wire through and did you have any trouble finding the location to cut in the garage for the wire run?
