Well That was unexpected. I am only loading one bike and if I ever do get a sidexside it will be a two track and under 50" wide like a RZR.
I have not researched the 2018 yet to find out if the new full ramp still uses the extention? I could not get my street bike up the ramp and into the trailer without it. If it does the ramp will be a heavy mother...

Have any of you seen the new 2018 300TQ's? They have a full sized rear door. If I would have known they were going to change that I may have waited. I got a smoking deal on mine but if I ever have the need to haul a side by side then it really limits me there. Oh well. I still really enjoy this trailer compared to my pop-up.

Looks like the same rear door I have

This is what the smaller door looks like. Buddy you got a full door? Maybe you got a 2018?

I don't think the 2018 has the extension on it. The bunk bed track only comes down a few feet also. It does have a stainless steel oven and microwave though. Oh and some fancy wheels. Haha!

Well unless they have done a dovetail or lowered the trailer some I don't see how you will get a street bike up the ramp without high centering.
I would not mind the fancy wheels!

I guess I didn't see a big difference until you posted your pic. I have the small door. I have used the camper 3 times now and haven't had any issues loading my FLHTC

I'm in the process of buying a 2018 250tq and it does in fact have the full door and dovetail.

Dan in Indiana here.....we got our 300 a month ago. I mounted a 24" TV in the entertainment cabinet. I also mounted a 32" in the garage. I ignored the recommended location in the garage. I mounted it under the garage cabinet, ran the wires thru the cabinet, then thru a cap to the plug ins. All works and travels well

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, I was loading my bikes up last night and the D-rings in my garage were all loose and one had a broken screw. Make sure you double check all of them before you strap anything down to them. I'm glad nothing came loose on my last trip.

The D rings are only held in with self tapping screws! I put a 8x8 metal plate on the floor with threads to be able to easily screw down a wheel chock for the Harley. It helps

Did the same, adding 4, 5000# D rings with backer.

How are you guys dealing with the sealed underbelly when adding D Rings and backing plates?

I cut my access then install a patch with short screws and caulk. A lot of guys just cut three sides (leaving the front hinged) then tape and caulk.

Good question, I was wondering this as well since I know it's something I'll be doing eventually.

I like the idea of cutting 3 edges and then resealing. I haven't spent any time underneath yet, but I'm guessing the option of dropping the whole section is more work that it's worth? What's the best thing to seal up the cuts? I noticed a few spots where there's sealed cuts from the factory that could use a bit of extra to cover the small gaps they left.

Some of the more industrious members have chiseled off the screws the factory installed. I didn't see a problem with cutting and patching. I used black silicone caulk.

Electric tongue jack
Have any of you installed an electric tongue jack?
If so, any recommendations?
Thanks.

Search eBay for Flex-Mend (FM-4108T) RV Belly Tape - this is product made for the chloroplast belly we have on these rigs. Works fantastic!
