Expect to not have many problems with our setup, but might add bags to the rear of the Ram to soften the ride. We will make that decision once we hit the road and get a feel for everything.
Aldas88,

I installed air bags on my 2011 SRW this summer and then traded-it in for a DRW that comes with bag.

Short story is let me know if you are considering putting air.

I have a brand new air bag kit that i paid 1800$ installed (Air Lift independent WirelessAir 7200 premium controller system) and can make you a sweet deal on it. Worst case you simply have to find the bags that fit your ride.

Seb.

I will keep you in mind when the time comes. Just got word that my 3970 has to be put on hold as the buyer for my house failed credit muster. Frustrating to no end.

I actually went small with my tv, which is kinda crazy. I really needed something that gets good gas mileage as it needs to double as my work vehicle. Went with a 2016 Colorado, gets me close to 25mpg at work and has amazing power for a V-6. It wouldn't be my first choice for towing cross country, but for shorter trips, it does surprisingly well.

I like it!

There's nothing like having the piece of mind you get from knowing, that you have more truck than you need.

Ha, we need to see a pic of that. Not many have tow vehicles bigger than their campers.

Betting Aaron put more modifications and upgrades in that little trailer than I have in my 44' Voltage. I think he only bought the Concord because he was bored and wanted new projects to work on!

Projects I gots...

In fact there are so many things on my Honey Do list I will never die. Sad part is every time I cross one off, three more pop up on it.

Case in point... got home from our weekend off camping, was dumping the tanks and noticed that the grass was getting kind of long where I park the camper, no problem, just grab the mower and give it a lick and promise. Friggin mower won't start, start trouble shooting the push mower, carb is bad. I already know that the local stores most likely WON'T have a carb kit in stock so I order one off Amazon. Put the mower back and the damned shed door comes off the hinges... and so life goes on!

Bought the Concord for quicker getaways.

Cause it was full of other stuff

Funny thing was when I picked it up the girl at the service desk asked if I was going to hook the WDH up.

That's the reason the truck doesn't want to get to the end of the road. It just don't want to go home.

I'm trying for 4 figures on my Honey do list, The way it's growing shouldn't be long. It's time to distract DW and take a road trip.

I know it's just a hitch to most folks, but......

I'm as green as they come around here. In fact, I bought a truck last month without even a clue that I would ever tow anything more than a utility trailer to Home Depot, or maybe a road trip pulling my little 1200# teardrop. I sure didn't see my impulse purchase of a real life stand up inside RV coming.

Well today was my pickup-walkthrough day. So I naďvely arrived at the dealership at opening and announced I was here to haul my new tinyhouse home. I was holding my tractor supply hitch-sleeve and 2" ball in my hand and asked if this would be all that I needed?

After 2 weeks of me stopping in and checking up on what's going on, these kind folks have gotten used to my sense of humor and no longer are shy about laughing and then educating me.

So, it's one of them BIG ball trailers? And, I'm needing both a little more robust sleeve, and one that will locate that ball about 24" above grade. My hardware in hand was far from adequate.

I took notes and was about to head off to fetch what was needed when I saw that slick looking Equalizer display in the service department lobby. I pointed at the one on top and asked "wouldn't this thing work?"

Another couple of giggles and someone said, yep, that'd do just fine.

I bought it. Probably paid more than some smart shopping would have fetched it for, but after experiencing the install and fantastic customer-education that came with it, I felt like it was worth every penny.

I followed along in the installation manual as the tech actually did the work and explained thoroughly what he was doing and why. There was not one conflict with his words and the manufacturers documentation. I was waiting for him to trip up just once so I could raz him. No doubt he's done a few.

The result was visually stunning. I sort of see how the engineering works, but it still amazes me that you can set that house on the back of a sissy-truck, watch it squat in protest, then magically load those bars up on those brackets and watch that truck go right back to level. The whole caravan sits dead level in harmony. Crazy cool.

When we were done he told me in all the years he's installed these type hitches, he hadn't ever had a customer that was more excited about the hitch than the RV.

Your pics don't work.

I wasn't really up on the whole weight distribution anti sway thing when I got my first camper. It is amazing how those bars load up and force weight to the front axles. You'd be surprised how many people think you can throw 6-800lbs of tongue weight on the back of a 1/2 ton and think its safe to drive down the highway at 70 mph. Bunch of maniacs.

I used the ordinary "<img>" tags referring to a hosted URL.
I'm new to this forum and might not know all its protocols for images.

Will try one more time. (using upload utility)

They were working this morning, maybe the links got broken? Which hosting service were you using?

Got her home a while ago!
I live in the woods and really haven't cleared a level spot for her yet. I put in a new dedicated Aerobic sceptic, power and water for it though. Will build a roof over and a pad under.

As for towing, I'm absolutely thrilled with that little ecoboost. It showed no protest at all pulling out of the hole or scampering up to 65mph very briskly. Amazing little power plant.
But that sissy-truck rear suspension is just too soft and giving. And I'm very disappointed it didn't come with Michelins. The last 4 Fords I bought did.

Not exactly sure the best approached for stiffening her up. I have an old F250 Diesel I pull the tractor with, but I'm wanting the more modern comforts of the newer truck if\when I go camping with the 213. And the F250 is far more truck than required for this lightweight.

Airbags maybe? Less for WD, (that's not the issue) but more for bump control. Less soggy?

Welcome folks advice.

If I can tackle that issue, I could almost claim that those #5000+ back there require visual reminder to remember.

I have one folder in my personal OneDrive cloud account that I have opened for sharing photos. Been using it for a few years on my Adventure Bike forums. However, it does call for very long URL's and some sites don't like it.

I'm good though with using this sites upload utility. Actually kind of nice.
However, the "edit" option is no longer available for the original post. They have a time-limit here maybe?

(By the way, the pics still render in the browser and tablet I originally used to post with. Probably cached though. No worries. More than one way to skin a cat)

Yup there is a time limit on editing on the site. Don't recall how long it is.

I use Flickr for most of mine.
