Water problem dewinterizing

Hi all.
Today I de-winterize my trailer,
I filled the freshwater tank, turn on the pump, and discovered that whenever the pump is running, water is coming out on the city water inlet.
any idea why and how to fix the problem?
if I hook up the hose to the city water inlet all is working well.

Mine did that once a few years ago. The 1-way check valve is either stuck open… or the o-ring is dislodged or damaged. Check the following YouTube video for repair:

Things may be dry and stuck. Remove the screen on the city water connector and poke the check valve a couple of times.
