I have a 2000 Dutchman Lite 26QB with a Norcold refrigerator. Refrigerator stopped working,I checked the 15 amp fuse inside camper and it was blown. I went to replace fuse and when I touched the prongs on new fuse to fuse box it sparked.Any suggestions on why or what I need to do?
The fridge is shut down,it doesn't have a fuse . When I try to put new 15 amp fuse in the fuse panel it sparks. I unplugged camper, inserted fuse and plugged camper back in and fuse blew again
Does the fuse blow before you even turn on the fridge? If that is the case then not likely the fridge but wiring. If it blows when you turn on the fridge then you are probably drawing too much power because something is not right with the fridge itself.
Probably not much help but thought I would point that out.
