I looked at videos, we have mickey moused this part for a couple of years and now, wire is completely gone, dunno what it is called, i see some are 50 bucks and some are 10, so i bought a 10 dollar and seemed to work when I worled on window AC 45 years ago we had a part that paralleled compressor start up cap and worked great,, but dunno if gas is out of compressor now, or this part quit,, is hot here in tucson and dont want to drop 1000 on a new ac and have someone put in cuz I am old and have two new knees and a heart valve,, wife doesnt like me up there,, anyhow,,thanks,, might head up again and live test when weather is cooler..
and I dont want to puncture line if it is full or empty never had good luck with those in the past, ( long ago)
