Okay... I'll bite, where do you get Tonic and what is it?

I used to buy quinine from my local pharmacy years ago and add to my gin with a big splash of spring water. Unfortunately I can't seem to find quinine anymore, hell I am having trouble finding name brand tonic water.

Might just have to go back dry martinis. My grandfather was infamous for his dry martinis, rumor has it he had the same bottle of vermouth for 50 years, he would make up the martini, pull the cork on the vermouth and pass it in front of the glass.
