Very interested. But where did you locate the meter so that 56" of cable would get the meter where you wanted?

Or do I not understand where the "control panel area" is?

Thanks,

Pirate

Here is the gauge I use when filling and I mounted the gauge for usage just above the fill hole left of the light. The only part I did not like was the that the wire does not unplug from wither end to allow you to drill a hole to run the wire through. Both ends are hard wired and to big to drill a hole. The gauge also displays Gallons per minute being used as well.

The second pic of the online on the hose is the one I tried - mine is not very close in accuracy when I fill the tanks

Last time I filled the tank, it read 170 gallons so it is less than 5% off but not using the same gauge for both you are going to have some variance. Even if they are not accurate, using the same system every time, you will get to know what you need and what you are using or have left.

I may even run the full tank empty through the pump just to see how they compare.

They also have this gauge, it is threaded with 3/8" NPT on each end. You could plumb it with hose connections and it would probably give you a more accurate reading using the same type of gauges.

I have that same fill meter. I have clocked it against a marked 35 gallon tank. It was spot on. I also put more than the claimed 160 gallons in my tank. So I think the factory if off on the tank calculations.

I thought my meter had gone bad one time I used it. Turns out I had it set to liters.

You might want to check yours.

Just sayin'

Mine is set to gallons - good point, but liters would register more than I put in. This one shows very low...

This looks like a great idea! Do they stay in place on bumpy roads, or bang the wall? I know some of those roads can really cause things in the back to launch!

Well...I must have gotten the crappy one. Mine will read 60 gallons throughput, and the 160 gallon freshwater tank is overflowing out the fill opening. Tried letting it rest a few minutes and vent...nope, turn the water on and its immediately overflowing.

Hmmm....

Ladder hangers

Sorry...my previous post was in response to the ladder hangers in the V-Series 3805. Sending from phone and did not include previous quote. My apology.

Yes - regarding the ladders. They never move. No damage what so ever to the walls. Love it. Works great.

Entertainment System Overhaul

Found a perfect replacement for the lame TV that Dutchmen put in the 3605. The LG UF6400 is a 43 inch 4k Ultra HD Tv. It's just about the same weight as the Furrion and it uses the stock mounting bracket! I had to move the bracket up about an inch and I got longer machine screws for the back of the TV just to be safe, the ones that were holding the Furrion on were kind of short and LOOSE! As an added bonus, it has a built in internet browser so you can navigate around the login screens found on some campground WiFi connections. So Now I have Netflix and Hulu! The Bose soundbar fit perfectly too, and it was an amazing upgrade to the Furrion head unit.

Added support to the bottom of the ladder to keep it from breaking off as my first one did. Had some scrap steal laying around with a 3/4"hole in it. cut it in half across the hole and had two pieces with a half round end that fit the ladder supports. Attached the ends to the trailer frame and no more bending.

d rings in garage question

Hi all.
Bought a 2014 3305 a few weeks ago in mint shape. Would like to add a few drings down the road. Asking here as I thought this was the best place to ask.
There is one missing from the guy I bought from as he took it out going to add a winch but was weary of backing his Harley out . he never replaced.
Should there be a backer plate on the bottom and I try to find drings and replace ?

Curious about space below and hitting a tank. Anyone try this install? I guess I would have to remove some of the enclosed underbelly to be safe.
Where to even find these drings locally?
Thanks
