Been busy this weekend with a few mods. I installed a lock on the main bathroom on the door off the main area. Just to protect from someone walking in from outside and straight in to the bathroom. Sorry the pics are sideways, not sure how to flip them or why they come in like that.

Also made a new leather strap with a heavy duty snap to keep the pocket doors from sliding back and forth during travel. Also increased the size of the air returns to 12"x12" to us normal filters. To increase the air flow in the living area I removed the 4" diffusers and placed a 5" piece of 1"x2" just past the vent to give the air something to bounce off of. It increased the air flow to the living room but reduced the air to the garage and the bedroom. I have AC's in both of those rooms so I would prefer to get the air in the main compartment. Again not sure how to get the pics to upload in the right direction.

I like the AC filter return. I had to make my own frame for my 12x12...where did you find your frame? I put a 12x12 on the kitchen side. I am going to put a 12x18 or 12x24 on the opposing side. That will be a this weekend project though...

Where did you get the lock at? After this week, I need one!!

I found a piece of 1"x3/4"x12' in PVC at Home Depot, Cut 4 pieces 13 3/4" long to long of a 45* angel. Nailed all 4 pieces together 1" side laying flat and screwed it to the ceiling. Cut the ceiling out with a razor knife and done. Took longer to set up than to actually do it. The 12"x12"x1" Filter is actually only 3/4" deep so it fit perfectly. Used 12x12 on both returns, noticed more air flow but part of the issue was the liner in the ceiling was collapsing and I used 1x2 and slid then in on the sides about 6" farther than the opening. This helped keeping the duct work open. Then taped everything.

The lock was simple too, but found that I needed to add a piece of aluminum angle iron 1/2" x 1/2", this kept the door from pushing out while trying to turn the lock and was a skirt for the gap between the door and the wall. With the angel Iron and screws I think I have about $35 into locking the bathroom door.

I also changed the lights above the doors to a dual light. You can run them as a bug light or a flood light. They fit nicely over the area of the old lights. Would like to find a large flood light for the light on the corner of our unit.
I have not taken pics in the dark yet but they are a lot brighter on the flood light setting. I did figure out how to get the pics to upload correctly!

I have a 2015 Voltage 3805 with 2 gray water tanks. I believe they are 45 gallons each. 1 services the bathroom/shower and 1 services the kitchen. As you can imagine, while dry camping the bathroom / shower tank fills up much quicker than the kitchen one. I was thinking about connecting the 2 tanks together to better leverage the capacity. Has anyone else already done this or see any issue with this modification? I would be interested in any plumbing diagrams that are available for these toy haulers - but I have yet to find any. Appreciate any input or insight.

just put a valve on your sewer discharge. (where you normally put the sewer hose). leave this valve closed and open your 2 grey valves. combines the 2 tanks on my 2015 voltage 3605.

Here are the mods/improvements I've done so far:
1. Installed a maxxfan deluxe with remote in garage. I was gonna wire it to the light closest to it but I was able to snake a wire in the ceiling to the "hot" side of the light switch so the fan will run without having to turn on the lights. However, when the lights are turned on, you can hear the fan slow down a little. Have led bulbs on the way to solve that problem.
2. Installed a ShurFlo water pump. Big difference in noise.
3. Installed a power cord reel.
4. Replaced the main entry triple step with a quad step. Will probably do the garage entry in the future.
5. 17.5 inch wheels and tires.
6. Removed the lower happi-jac bunk and used the brackets to lift my disabled brother-in-law's hospital bed up and out of the way for toys.
7. Installed 32in led tv in garage.
I have electric dump valves and the linc remote system ready to be installed when I have the time. I'm also researching led light strip installation under the 2nd awning.

I have the valterra valves. I'll try to get a picture of the reel in the next few days. I installed it on the ceiling of the basement next to the "wet bay."

Well, found a way to track the usage of the fresh water in the tank when Boon docking! I know there is a led light that will tell you if there is water or not in the tank but, with this method you could anticipate what you need each day and know almost exactly how many gallons you have used or left.
I use a gallon gauge when filling the tank. Usually I will put 20 gallons in while traveling and fill to 150 when we get close to our destination. I bought this gauge and installed it between the new pump and the tank, so as water is pumped it will calculate what is being used. Mounted the gauge in the control panel area. Works great, now I can tell our daughter how much water she really is using when taking a shower, when she thinks she doesn't use much at all!
