Thanks Don for the advise! All done, picked up the gauge and fittings. Set the fill stem to the driver side for a little easier access.

Good deal. Now you'll just have to experiment and find that sweet spot for different loads. The Trailaire rep recommended to me that I inflate the bag until the lower jaw plate (where the kingpin is) is parallel to the top of the upper jaw (level). I started from the there and made small adjustments. I have onboard air so could make them during stops if needed.

Good advice! I also have on board air, so I can do the same. I usually watch the arrows on the shocks mounted to the front of the hitch. Just to get started, it will be a whole lot easier finding a number on the gauge. It seen=med to be best at 100 psi yesterday but that seems high to me, what does your usually run at?

I used to use the arrows on the shocks, but now I just eyeball for the top of the upper jaw and the bottom of the lower jaw to be parallel and adjust from there based on input for Trailaire rep. I run anywhere from 65 to 80 or so psi depending on the load and where we are driving - I-69 in Flint, Michigan and further east is something truly "special"...

I received the same advice from a Trailair rep on the parallel jaws. However, when parallel, the shock was bottomed out (at 60 lbs). I'll have to compromise a bit to get the shock back into operating range. He suggested I use 2 rather than 3 shocks for my 16500 lb. gvwr rig. He thought 3 would be better for the heavier trailers. I will see how that works out.

Just added LED colored lights under stairwells on exterior. I tapped into the existing amber light wires, then removed the bulb from existing Amber light. This way the existing switch on control panel still operates them. It looks great at night.

Why not just replace the amber light bulb with an LED?

Good question. The existing light is a clear bulb inside an amber colored lens, like a parking light. I installed a blue LED light strip

We love the blue. Along with liking it, we light blue for Autism because of our son. I traded out the Amber for blue marine ones.

We have a 2014 Voltage Epic 3800 and I'd really like to replace all the interior lights with LED.

The sales info said they were LED...but nope...all halogen.

What type of bulbs do you have? If they are 921 they are easy to swap out for LED bulbs, no fixture replacement required. I recommend these they are warm white and have a color very close to the 921 bulbs.

mine were half 921 and half I dont recall lol, the dealership wanted $275 for the complete set but I went to batteries plus and got everything for $130
