Recently we went on a short outing with the camper. Over both side doors are lights which have white light bulbs in them. I had a gazillion bugs around each light and door. I think the number of the bulb over the doors are a 1141. Single filament , base with two opposing lugs equal on each side. I was given two 7507 amber bulbs with the same base same size globe and all. I looked them up on Donsbulbs.com and the bases measure out to the same size. When I tried to insert the bases into the bulb sockets the bulb would not seat to lock the lugs. I pushed and pushed so hard I thought I would break the globes in my hands. I took my second bulb and but a micrometer on it. .005 difference in size. The amber bulb was larger but slightly.
I suppose my question is the .005 difference. Would that small amount prevent proper insertion into the socket?? If so what bulb does someone recommend that will fit and is amber.
Anyone change out their bulbs yet??
The unit is a 2103 3200 Voltage. I am trying to change the bulbs over the doors.
