I did put the Flip foot on, I like the way it works, we will see how it does on the next trip...Also bought 30amp Surge Guard...I never had an electrical problem, but will be going to some out of the way places and don't want to take a chance..

Glad you trip went well, It is a nice looking unit, I am sure you will get a lot of pleasant time in it.
I have been tinkering with mine waiting for our trip on the 15th...Here are a couple of pictures of ours, not recent, I will take new ones this trip..

That was one of the things I liked about the camper, plus it is electric...I didn't think it would make much difference but it does...You just have to be careful if it gets windy, especially at night..If I am not sure I just retract it before going to sleep...

Oh! I forgot to tell you, I like the stabilizer jacks you have they look very practical..I just have the regular stabilizers, I also use an electric drill to raise and lower them, makes it quick work...

Looking at your trailer, I'm not sure why the awning isn't longer. A friend of ours bought a Sunset Trail trailer and his awning is short too. But the top rail ran the length of the trailer so he had a longer awning installed by the dealer. Now it covers his outside cook center. Maybe you can look into a longer awning as well...

I know the rail on mine runs the length of the top also. I guess to make it cheaper to buy. It anything happens to my awning I will go for the longest one I can.

The reason the awning rail runs the entire length is that there are 2 types of gutter rail trim for trailers. 1 with awning insert and 1 without most commonly used on fifth wheels that have the awning installed below the roof line. You can always have a longer awning installed but remember that the sidewalls of the trailers have supports installed where the factory mounts the awnings. If you relocate your awning there may not be a good structure for your screws to go into. Most trailers now have 1 inch thick walls that are inside wall paneling, foam and then 1/8 thick luan panels topped with philon (fiberglass) for smooth walls. So you could be screwing into only styrofoam. Colemans however are still wood framed trailers as opposed to aluminum framed

Remember that using a cordless drill on the stabilizer jacks will void the warranty on them. Don't know how they can prove one was used, but just sayin'...

I guess I will take the risk, besides if the stabilizer jack is all I have to have warranty work done on I will be happy.....

My jacks have a warning sticker on them that says using a power drill will void the warranty. Had I not seen that I never would've known it...

I made a few minor mods nothing that hasn't been done before but easy and needed.
The bathroom fan pull switch was an easy way to let the vertically challenged (Wife) turn the fan on and off easily.
The next was just a spring shelf for the shower we needed.
Not really a mod but I did find an easy way to hold the door wide open when the awning support was staked to the ground.
