2021 Coleman Lantern 337BH

Hi y'all! My husband and I just purchased our first travel trailer!!! Can anyone tell me if this model has a generator? We assumed that all of them did, but when we got home and started looking more into it, we only saw the battery and the propane tanks...

Also, what size bed does the dinette and the jack knife sofa convert into, and what size TV fits into the entertainment center cubby? I thought the beds might be a full, but want to make sure I'm getting the right size sheets for sleeping.

Thanks - so excited to go on some new adventures with our family!

It doesnít appear you have a generator and if the dealer didnít show it to you or actually show you how to work it when you took delivery than I would say you certainly do not have one.

Most trailers do not have generators unless they are toy haulers but of course there are no hard and false rules. Usually you have to step up to a motor home before they come with a generator.

If you donít plan on using the air conditioner when not plugged in you could get away with a pretty small portable gas generator which will allow you to run the microwave and all other electrical aside from the air conditioner. If you want to run the air conditioner you will need a larger capacity, likely a 3000 watt model or so. They are bigger and heavier so keep that in mind.

Someone else who has you model can answer the other questions.

Good luck.

Your salesperson should have been able to answer all your questions had you asked. Generally they want the sale and get you out the door. Either he didn't do a walk through or he sluffed you off. Go back and ask for the sales manager if he didn't do a walk through.

Sales people generally make up answers to your questions. We recently held a meeting with two sales folks, one from the dealership and one from the manufacturer. Both of them disavowed saying anything and refused to back up what was said by saying “I don’t remember saying that”.

They said “the company would back up any repairs, and be responsible” then yesterday they said that we are on our own!

A case study on how do you know a salesman is lying?
