The B&W Companion Pivot arms can be assembled to position the Kingpin either 3" behind the axel, or 1" behind the axel (closer to the cab). You can also set the hitch height in 3 different positions, with a 1" difference between positions. With a full 8' bed, you should be able to use position closer to the cab, moving the weight forward. If you have a short bed, not sure. Either way, suggest you measure per B&W's instructions.
You should also be able to adjust the position of the kingpin assembly up/down in two inch increments. It's a lot easier & quicker to adjust the hitch. I recently replaced the factory Lippert pin box with a MORryde rubber pin box. Removing/moving/reinstalling the pin box can be done by one person, but it would be a lot easier with a helper.
