Oh man. I wish I had that cabinet extension on ours. Must be a package or regional thing. Our 192 has only the wall above the window with the sticker noting to mount television at that point. This would be much easier. Thanks for posting the photos! Looks awesome.

On a side note I wonder if a ceiling mount would work well on the cabinet to the left to mount a TV underneath. My only concerns there would be any wiring running to a light above the table and also the weight of the TV on the cabinet.

I would think if it has the "mount TV here sticker" that it should be a stable mounting point.

That might be true if the guy who slapped the sticker on was having a stable day. Best bet as mentioned before is a stud finder to be sure.

Agreed Thom. I didn't get a chance to check mine this weekend but I am thinking that the cabinet above the dinette in the 192 might be the perfect place to install a 3/4" backer board in one of the blank spots. Glue it in or use short screws to connect to the rear portion of the cabinet space. Then mount my TV bracket to that. The cabinets are screwed into studs and it should support plenty of weight.

This Coleman has really been a pleasant upgrade from tent camping. We now have the ability to just show up at our river site and bring nothing but food and clothing for the weekend. Now I just need a sand point and dump well and it will be set.

d_eggmann2 have you installed a water heater by-pass or winterization kit in the 192RD yet? Just curious as I am a visual learner. Looks like the pump and water heater are below the couch so reaching them shouldn't be too big of an issue.

Yes I did, it was a tight fit the way the pump is in the bottom of the pantry. I had to modify the hole a little.

I was looking last weekend and it looks like I may already have a water heater by pass but I have to pull the panel up to get a better look. That would solve half the problem come this winter.

Mine had the bypass already also. I was referring to the winterizing valve I installed on the pump sorry for the confusion.

No big deal. I am assuming you ran a winterization T to the outside since you said you had to modify the hole? I'm thinking I definitely want to do the RV antifreeze method instead of the compressed air. Seems like its easy and less chance for leaks due to forced air.

We actually do both - blow the lines and then use antifreeze!
But then again we are in upstate New York - last winter we had 45 straight days where the temp did not rise above O (F).....

It can get that cold in Nebraska too but I think the antifreeze will work just fine.

So I definitely found a water heater bypass. Turned them on so I don't pump water in. It did a few weeks ago and I had to drain it. I will order the winter bypass kit soon so I can get ready for fall and winter.

We have a CTS192RD also and love it. The quality is what you would expect for things made these days. It's not great but it isn't poor either.

We love the layout of our 2016 Coleman CTS 16 FB, I have been "making it my own" Since we brought it home, it had a few minor problems but I repaired all of them myself with parts furnished from the dealer.

The FB wasn't bad but my wife absolutely loved the couch set up in the 192. Plus the double axle allowed the weight for the larger fridge/freezer setup which was also nice.

Not sure if I posted this.
I added a battery cut off switch last summer. It does a great job of keeping the battery charged while not in use.

d_eggman did you post up a DIY for that? I plug mine in only on the weekends when I'm at the campsite so I'm sure I am probably draining it throughout the week while I am away.

That is next on my list, also several other things here that use a battery, Harbor Freight has them for around $5.00 and next trip I am going to pick up several.
