If you're keeping your unit or using it a lot, you might consider installing electric dump valves. Install isn't much more work than replacing the cable. It's a mod I'm glad we did.

You might pull the small 'canister-looking' screen/filter housing in the inlet side of your pump and check it for cracks. Mine was cracked, which allowed the pump to suck air.

There are many times where I just need 15 amp electrical power to our V3605. Rather than lug out the (heavy!) 50 amp cord, use a 30 amp adapter and then a 15 amp adapter, I'm thinking of installing...
