How to reply with a quote of question

Just tried to respond to a post. I wanted to quote the original question so it was clear what i was responding too. Clicked the "Quote" button but the original post did not show up in my post.

How does quote work on this forum?

Depending on what browser or app you are using, clicking the "quote" button in a particular post SHOULD render a new post form with the original data\text already populated in the form.

Very similar to how most Forum Software packages work.

Works for me... This is on a Windoze 7 machine running Chrome.
