New to travel trailer camping just this year. We bought a 2020 31’ Dutchmen Astoria 2773RB. When we’re level with the electric stabilizers down, we still feel a good bit of shaking when the other person is up walking around.
Wondering if we’re not using enough pressure on the stabilizers? I’ve heard/read you do not want to go too far with them, so I get them to the blocks then about 2 more bumps and stop. Wondering if I should be going further? If not, would it increase the stability to add a couple of manual stabilizers under the frame on both sides? Other suggestions? Or is that just what you get in a TT?
Thanks in advance - I have learned a lot just reading through this forum, thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge/experience!
Strong Arms or Extra stabilizers on the frame itself (those screw type). The stabilizers themselves are not made to support the weight of the unit a help a little.
