24 Dutchman Astoria 2533RDF Washer/Dryer Install

Happy Holidays everyone. We just purchased a 2024 Astoria 2533RDF and took it to have a washer/dryer set (not combo) installed. The dealer called and stated that they will have to permanently remove the pocket door to the washer/dryer prepped closet as the washer/dryer unit will not fit without doing so. Does that sound correct? The dealer recommended a Splendide WFL1300XD (washer) and DV6500X (dryer) because they "would fit," but now we are a bit concerned. Any insight would be very much appreciated. I'm concerned about impacting the resale value in the future. Thanks !!!

I'd go look at it and make sure what the dealer is telling you is correct. Also, they may be selling you the wrong units.
