1995 M-1203 water system diagram?

I have a 95 M-1203 pop up, and I think someone has messed with the water system. This camper has the manual pump faucet, no hot water, and no toilet. So no electric pump.

I am remodeling the interior, and when I removed the front dinette I noticed the only connection to the faucet was a hose going from the faucet directly to the city water connection. Further inspection found the barb on the tank outlet fitting was broke off. So if I would have tried to fill the tank, it would have just ran out on the floor.

I've been trying Google with no luck, but what I'm looking for is a diagram of how this was originally plumbed. Was there a T in the system going to the faucet between the city water connection and the tank? Maybe a valve, or a one-way check valve?

The gray line in the bottom left of the picture is what ran up to the faucet. No other plumbing components was found in the area, so I'm thinking whatever broke was removed and thrown away and left as is. Any help figuring out how to make this work with either City connection or tank would be appreciated.

The old hose was probably a reinforced flexible plastic hose. It needs to be reinforced enough to withstand a small vacuum.

The fitting on the outside of the trailer probably contained a check valve. The two sources would then be connected through a "T" fitting.

Most parts are available in plumbing department.
