Undercarriage Mystery Access Panel

Before I get into something I might regret by opening this, can anyone please tell me what is behind this access panel? This is on a Dutchmen 31 FKDS, on the right side, and as it appears to be located about where the converter is . . . my guess is that this is the 12V and 110V wiring leading to and from the converter? Thanks VERY much. Photos attached.

Assuming it is your converter, (above the tire, yes?), then I'll guess that they changed converters, and the new models were too large for the old space. If they couldn't go up, I guess they went down.

I wonder what a blowout would do that box. Is it steel or aluminum?
