Trying to find the shore power to gen transfer switch on a 2001 Thor 5th Ave

Can anybody instruct me where to find the shore power to generator power transfer switch and relay on a 2001 Thor fifth ave Camper trailer with a generac 50 amp generator..... I have started the generator and switch on the 20 amp and 30 amp breaker but it is not switching on any generator power..... I know there must be a transfer switch that transfers from shore power to generator power but I can not locate it. Has anybody solved this issue in the past.... Thank you

I dont know if 2001 was like this but in the old days they didn't use a transfer switch. The had a receptacle in the compartment that was fed from the generator, you would plug your shore power cable into that receptacle for generator power.

If you do have a transfer switch, it should be located very near your shour power cable connection point.

On some of the WFCO power panels, the transfer switch is mounted on the rear of the panel. I've seen this on 30A service. Often the 50A transfer switch is mounted in the basement or front area of a 5th wheel. But that varies all over the place.
