Power Jack Issues

I have a 2020 Dutchmen Astoria 2773RB - not sure about the jack brand, didn't think to look at that, and am having an issue with the power jack.
The jack will, at times, not go up. It will always go down but sometimes will not go up. I'm wondering if it could be the switch itself that has a problem. If I press the down side, then immediately press the up side, it will go. Sometimes have to do that 2 to 3 times, but eventually, it will go. Once it starts going up, it's fine until I let off the switch.
Is there anything else that might cause it to act like this other than the switch?
If it's the switch, is this something fairly easy to replace myself? I am not very electrically inclined, but if it just involves removing wires from the old switch and connecting to the new switch I can do that.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated!

It certainly can be a defective switch or a loose wire or an about to fail motor. Testing is required to find cause.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

Thank you for the information.
Any suggestions for what it is I'm needing to test that would help determine the issue?

Open the cover and look for loose wires on the "up" side of the switch.

Meter the "up" side of the switch. Voltage should appear when switch is pressed. If jack does not go up when pressed and no voltage, switch is probably bad.
If jack does not go up when pressed and 12 volts is present, it is wires down stream or motor.

Refer to the Mfr’s operating manual.

That’s a funny one! “Read the manual”. Truly side-splitting! There was NOTHING included for the jack specifically, and the generic owner’s manual provides 4 different websites “for more information”. Two sites have nothing to do with jacks, one is “under construction” and doesn’t work, and the 4th has jacks, but not by RAM. So totally useless. And when I tried to go directly to the RAM site, you can’t do anything there unless you’re a retailer. Sorry, I guess I should have put all that in my original post so you could have saved your time in telling me to read the manual. Geez.

There is an abundance of articles and videos about RAM power jacks on line. Google:

Ram Electric Trailer jack troubleshooting

You may even find your manual, which are typically available for free at a manufacturer’s website.

If you bought the trailer new, insist that the dealer provide a manual for all of your devices.

I think Randy was referring to the jack manufacturer, not the rv manufacturer. The jack mfr’s customer service will help you the most

Sorry, I made a mistake, the RV Assembler-
