NHTSA Safety Recall - 2014 Dutchmen Voltage models

Received the following email today via my Good Sam alert system. Doesn't effect me, but thought I'd pass it on:

Summary:

Dutchmen Manufacturing is recalling certain model year 2014 Voltage recreational vehicles manufactured July 18, 2013, through August 20, 2013. The vehicles may not have the clamp installed correctly at the generator fuel filter.

Consequence:

Without a correctly installed clamp, the fuel line may become disconnected, resulting in a fuel leak, which could lead to an increased risk of fire, personal injury and property damage.

Remedy:

Dutchmen will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the installation of the clamp, as needed, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in September 2013. Owners may contact contact Dutchmen Customer Service by calling 1-574-537-0700. Dutchmen's recall number is 13-197. Thanks for that .... it includes mine I'll have the dealer take a look at it since I haven't brought it home yet. I still waiting for my brackets for the fifth wheel.

Are you referring to the brackets to get your fifth wheel hitch into the bed of your truck.

I was going to order a 2013 Dodge 3500 4x4 DRW with the Asian transmission April of last year. None were shipping and when I tried to order, they we not even in the dealer computer.

My F350 has the factory under bed mounting and I bout the Reese Elite 21K hitch. Love the hitch.

Found the affected VIN Range: 47CTVTS22EC664500 - 47CFVTU24EC664668

My Voltage is not affected. Whew.

I hope they did....but I'm not gonna assume. Don't hurt to follow up. I've been in a bus fire.... and its scary.

My fuel pump went out and was changed by the dealer. I guess I'd better check it.
