Brand New Rubicon furnace not even wired up.
I currently living in my Rubicon while working in MN about 12 hrs from home and the dealer I purchased it from in July.
I tried to turn on the furnace last night and it wasn't working. Checked propane and thermostat but still nothing. This morning I pulled off the access panels and it isn't even wired up! The 12v, thermostat and thermostat+12v wires are just hanging there off the control panel. There is also a white wire (ground?) coming in off the back wall not hooked up. I can't see where they are supposed to wire into.
I'm assuming the dealer and Dutchmen are going to want me to take it in somewhere out here but the closest Dutchmen dealer is 2 hrs away. Of course they don't have any weekend hours.I start a 7-12's work schedule next week and will not have the time to do this. I'm hoping that since Dutchmen obviously neglected to wire this up and the dealer failed on their delivery prep that between the 2 they will send out a service call.
I know that is probably wishful thinking.
If I just knew where to wire this to, I could do it myself but don't see and other wires loose in there.

Can you show a pic of the control panel and the wires?

Pretty sure you're going to be criticized for not doing a 2 day PDI on your coach. But after spending the dollars that you spent you expect everything to work and the factory and dealer to have approved the delivery of the coach. Sorry you weren't able to read this forum first or you might not have bought a Dutchmen. Quality control at the Dutchmen factory is nonexistent.

Pics are waiting on approval.
I was never offered a 2 day PDI (pre-delivery inspection?). They pushed me through it in about 30-45 minutes. As this is my first rv, I did ask lots of questions on how everything worked. I was assured that everything was tested and I watched them flip the thermostat to heat but it was 90*+ out that day and I wasn't surprised that the heat didn't turn on.

12 hour shifts, I'm guessing you're a nurse.
We'll try and get your furnace working before the snow falls up there, when the pix get approved.

That's kind if my point. If you're new to buying these things you don't know all the things to ask and observe. The dealer doesn't offer a thorough PDI (you have to insist on it) and will let you take it off the lot if the wheels are falling off. They don't care. It's off their lot and now it's your problem. I hope your dealer proves me wrong and steps up and takes care of this obvious oversight on their part. Forgive me if I don't hold my breath.
On the lighter side, as Sundancer says, if you can get those pictures posted I'm also sure that somebody here will be able to help you get it wired. There are a lot of good people here who will bend over backwards to help you. Good luck.

Ah so, pipe fitter then, still an admirable job for anyone, especially at a nuke plant.

Lets see if the pics work this way
the last pic shows the only wires coming in from the back wall. The green and white wire just loops in and go back through the hole.

they come off the control panel of the furnace. The red goes to the reset/off switch. Blue connects to with another blue wire and black connects with 2 more black.
I am working on another pic.

Grab a Manufacturer and model # also. I've been on the Atwood site and they've got some OK diagrams.

I think the wires are ok at the furnace end. They are not connected to the rv and I don't see wires in the area to connect to.

Thanks Jeff, the diagrams will help.
The furnace end is connected so we need to find the rest of the wires coming from the thermostat. I wonder if the T stat wires might be behind the furnace itself? They have to be somewhere, it wouldn't hurt to open the T stat and see if there are wires there.

The t stat looks to me to be connected. There is a red and blue along with a bunch of other wires hooked to it. They go into the wall between the kitchen and bath. There are no wires coming from that wall into the furnace cavity.

Unless the wires got inadvertantly shoved behind the furnace during installation.
Maybe you could see them with a bright light looking into the hole in the rear of the shell.

Dang, you have two ends but no middle. There isn't a workable wiring scheme for your RV so we don't have any idea where the wires are running.
