Yea I've read some of those stories, welding rods, the works inside. My previous bus held 260 gallons of fuel long way in between stops. Now I'm in panic mode when way out somewhere when diesel fuel is not available. I've ran out before in my previous Ram when the fuel gauge lied. After hours of being stranded before I was able to get 5 gallons of fuel I then had to deal with cracking the enjectors to get it primed. Almost killed batteries doing that. The little prime pump near the bottom of fuel filter is worthless.
