Looking to maybe purchase a 2011 Coleman 259RE 5th wheel tomorrow.

No matter what brand you are considering, the most important thing on any RV is the condition of the roof. Check it carefully for cracks and any signs of leakage. A leaking roof will cause mold and wood rot problems that will extend all the way down into your sub floor.
Before purchasing ANY RV do a very thorough PDI (pre-delivery inspection), on a used unit you will need to determine if something isn't the way it should be, to either negotiate a better price or walk away. With a new trailer you have the option of having the dealer make the repairs, choosing a different unit or walking away.
