Window Seal Came Out of Window Frame

We have a Kodiak Ultimate. On a recent 60 miles trip from one side of Orlando to the other, the rubber seal on the outside of the forward slde window came out, It is hanging in the frame. I need instructions and ideas on how to get it back into the frame and glue it in place so it does not come loose again. The part that came loose is the back side of the forward window, so the downwind side of the window. I apparently forgot to latch the window, so it is possible that air got under the seal and blew it out.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. My next stop is youtube.

Thanks,

window seal problem

In picture 2, the image on the left is a reflection of the seal in the window. The actual seal can be seen close to the skin of the camper.

Thank you,

Usually that spline don’t need to be glued in. It’s like when you replace a screen, it’s a friction fit. You should be able to push it back in, far enough so it sort of “locks” in. Possibly, it was a bit loose to begin with.

Did you take a left or a right before the seal blew out? On the Up side I like the YouTube rout!
I am against glue on any window seal period. That is the stopping point. Check out the local RV closest to you and get expert advice. Do not call a hardware store for repair of anything RV! good luck!
