No fan roof vent upgrade

Forgive me if this is a preexisting thread topic. I searched and searched and couldnít find it. Sooooo...
My aspen trail 17bh has basic no fan vents in the bathroom and living area. Iíd like to upgrade them to fan models that run off 12v. I was hoping the wiring would be available at the fan site and I wouldnít have to tap into a lite. Would anyone be able to explain the process to install electric vent fans to replace the basic vents without fans
Thanks!!!

I’ve never done it myself, so I don’t wanna give you any incorrect info.

That said, as I understand it, the process is pretty straightforward... and there are of plenty of YouTube videos showing how it’s done. I recommend watching a few of those, and then come back for specific questions to your own situation.

Usually the bathroom fan is the first and the easiest to be replaced with Fantastic Fans. Power is already there.

This was the case for me when I added a bathroom fan to our Aspen Trail 2710BH. Brochure suggested there should have been a fan installed, but our unit didn't have it. Power was already there available once I cut the hole, but it is tied to the light switch on the wall for bathroom light.

So did you have success upgrading the bathroom vent? I just purchased a 17BH and that is on my list.

Fan hasnít arrived yet. I think Iím gonna wire it into the closest light. Gonna put a fuse in the hot wire.
