Have just had a couple of interesting conversations with Dutchmen and my dealer where we bought our 297RE which has a delamination problem (which is getting worse) and a shower leak. Dutchmen says the repairs have been authorized as of last Thursday. The dealer showed me the warranty claim papers sent to Dutchmen. The dealer asked for 12-14 hours to replace the back wall where the delamination is and Dutchmen agreed to the repair but gave them 6 hours. The resolution for the shower was remove the shower base, reinforce it where the original reinforcement was removed to install the drain, replace the base, reseal and water test for a total of 6 hours. Dutchmen said OK but you only have 3/4 of an hour. ?????
What the ????? I have about had it with Dutchmen and Thor. I am ready to tell them give me my money back and I will go purchase a quality product. If they can't stand behind their product, why bother. I beleive they figure if they put us the customer off long enough, we will go away or pay for the repair ourselves. What is a person supposed to do???

Well just got a call from the dealer that Coleman agreed to fix our problems. (duh) It is amazing when you talk to the factory and even mention Better Business Bureau the results you get.

I dont understand these companies that are unwilling to exercise a little goodwill .A little effort goes a long way towards improving the ownership experience...And by the way dont they want your business when you buy your next coach????

The weather here in Arkie-ville is getting right.
I may just de-winterize in the next couple weeks and start the fun!

2nd TV mounted.

Nothing special just wanted to post it. I bought a piece of oak board at HD. Stained it as close as I could get. It actually looks lighter in person.

We pick up our 2014 CTS 194QB tomorrow. We are trading in our 2012 Aljo 183. It will be a nice change to have a more room. We had the dealer install a longer awning to extend over the outdoor kitchen. We plan on taking her out in a couple weeks once we get her all set up for travel.

Oh, that's the model I like too. I think we're going to head over to Camping World tomorrow to look at it in person. We looked at the Keystone Passport, the other day, and my husband was less than impressed with the construction.

Took the first weekend trip. Not a single problem after dewinterizing from the winter we had.
I was concerned since I did it myself the first time ever. Thanks to the info I found here and other places.

It could really use a small ladder or even a handhold to help the kids climb up into the top bunk - one of them slipped while coming down and grabbed hold of a little piece of moulding - ripping it off and breaking it in the process. Nothing I can't fix.

But all in all I'm very happy with the unit. Coming from a life of tenting to this unit is like staying in a hotel.
I agree just bought the same trailer as our first coming from tenting. 281 bh. Agree with the lack of a ladder to the top bunk. My son is a little older and is able to get up and down without incident. So far. That's on my list as well as replacing the speakers that are factory installed. Not very good stuff there. 40 inch TV in the living area 32 in the master bed.

That makes me a little sick just noticed a delamination my self. Taking pictures in the morning. Is warranty covering these issues?? I wanted the fiberglass siding because I thought it was more resilient.
