Recently purchased 2020 313rlsl - did what I consider a through inspection and did not find a rotten slide floor. Unfortunately, it houses the refrig, electric fireplace, exterior tv refrig , stove etc. Any one experienced this situation and have any suggestions.....
My guess is the fridge is likely the culprit and the floor got soaked and not dried out quickly so that ruined it. Probably soaked while closed.
I have no idea how to fix but at least the slide out can be removed from the trailer completely and the floor replaced by a good technician outside of the trailer. They could possibly even rotate the slide out 90 degrees once removed or support it somehow that gives easy access to the floor.
If it was the floor elsewhere in the trailer it would likely be much more complicated with the potential for damaged joists or insulation too.
We have a 2020 kodiak ultimate and had to replace a rotten slide floor too. I honestly believe we bought it damaged but at the time didn’t know to check. We know do.
We replaced the crappy pan with 3/4 inch Marie grade plywood and then bought RV Underbelly Material 50 Feet RV Underbelly Tape Waterproof Fabric Repair Tape Thick Mobile Home Belly Tape Sealing Permanent Adhesive Patch Camper Trailer Belly Bottom Repair Patch(8 Inch) from Amazon. We were able to do all the replacement on our own without completely pulling our side. YouTube is a huge help! Dutchman was useless and never even followed up with us for the warranty work.
