Hi
My dealer said I had a recall on the furnace in my new 175bh cub.
However the wait list for service to check if some wires are sitting on an exhaust tube is 4 to 5 months.
I called around to other dealers and they didnt seem interested to help me or even book a time.
Has anyone gotten this recall or know what's involved with this? I dont mind pulling off a plate to check wires and then re sealing I just want to know what to look for ...

Which make and model of furnace is it? It might be worth a few dollars and peace of mind to have an independent shop check it out for you.
Waiting on RV dealers for warranty work is not my idea of fun. They give it a low priority and don't care how much of your time they waste.

Chiming in here as I just rec’d info about this and I just picked up my Kodiak 288BHSL on 8/17. I had emailed customer service inquiring about something else and they had sent this as part of their response.
“I did want to inform you of a service campaign that your unit has #18-318. It has been determined that certain Atwood furnace models may have wiring that can come in contact with the exhaust vent tube causing the furnace to shut down in a safe manner. This is not a safety concern and you may still use your unit, however we do advise you to have this looked at by your dealer.”
Prolly just go in there and look myself as she pretty much explained the issue.
Where did you find your 2018 in this list? I'm not seeing any 2018's on the recall list on the customer service website.
*edit - I realized I only looked at Kodiak in the recall list and it occurred to me that perhaps you have a different brand
It is a 2018 Kodiak 243 BHSL Ultra Lite.
The show notified us. They were getting another item approved and parts ordered. Not sure if Dutchman told them they saw it somewhere. More money for them.
