Tomorrow - New Rig Day!

We get our Voltage 3005 tomorrow! My wife and I are really looking to getting the TH tomorrow. We really like the layout and how the interior flows. We went to two RV shows before we decided to pull the trigger and get one. It will be a great way to haul the bike and to provide a nice place to stay, wherever we may go!

So if anyone has any advice for us, please feel free to give us some pointers. We are first time owners of a 5th wheel.

Congratulations - you must be very excited!

Advice:
Try not to giggle with glee in public
Consider spending a night in your new rig parked in your driveway - it's a good way to learn the basic systems.

Congrats!

That Voltage is one nice looking trailer! You should be very proud of your purchase. The 5th wheel trailer design has come along way since we bought our first 5th in 1985 (1984 Travelaire 20'). I'm 99.9% sure we are going back to a 5th when we buy our retirement home and do the loop between the southern USA in the winter and Canada in the summer. I've had enough of the bitterly cold weather and snow here in the winter - Get me out of here!

Congratulations! It's so exciting to pick up a new rig. I hope you have many years of happy travels.

I echo the advice to spend the night parked at home or in a park close to home. It is the best way to work out the kinks.

Th Lm,

So, did tomorrow come? Did you take delivery of the 5er?

Just curious.

Yes, we got it home on Saturday! It is a nice unit and we can't wait to play with it. We plan on using it once or twice this month.

It was interesting driving it home from the dealer. I've never had a 5th wheel before, so it was a little bit of a learning experience. The truck did great and it pulled very nicely. It is a long rig (for me that is).

Th Lm,

How cool is that? Congratulations!!!

Ya, the size of that 5er can be intimidating on the back of your tow vehicle. As you know, you'll definitely get use to it.

Enjoy!!!
