New to Dutchmen

Picking up our 2021 Voltage 4225 this Saturday! Can't wait to explore in this lengthy beast. Has anyone figured out how to get a stackable washer/dryer in the garage? So strange that once you put a washer in you can't open the door to the toilet area!!! Thinking of cutting a door into the other portion of the collapsable door.

Hello

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry I have no ideas for the washer/dryer issue.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

Garage Washer/Dryer

We purchased the single drum washer / dryer, I think is just a bit wider than the stackable. However, I am thinking we have the layout in the garage area. The bathroom door will not be able to open all the way, no matter how much you "skootch" it over. Small price to pay for not having to run back and forth to the laundry, I have come to understand. I have more of a problem with fitting my bike in, but also do-able.....

I bought the combo W/D and install it in the front bedroom closet.

Don't travel too far form home until you get the bugs worked out. Yes, there will be things wrong. It's not like buying a new Mercedes for the same price where everything is in perfect condition.

If you mount a magnetic door holder on the floor in the corner of the wall you can pull the ceiling pin and then open the whole wall out and in, allowing you privacy to ahem, and then push the door out instead of swinging it open and presto, no issue with washer dryer. FWIW, we just bought the same unit and we really love it so far.
Happy camping!

Probably you could contribute to make it greater by listing your RV particulars.

Hi we bought a new Voltage 4225 and have the same concern. Were you ever able to figure out how to handle the washer/dryer and bathroom door in the garage?
