Greetings to all from a newcomer!

Greetings everyone!
I thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Jim, and I'm the owner of a brand new 2013 Denali 289RK. My wife and I took delivery of our trailer last November, we had previously been camping with a Fleetwood Sun Valley tent trailer - so the move from a little pop up to the Denali was a big one!
We've spent the winter getting ready for the "maiden voyage", we're going to be towing from Portland OR to Long Beach WA in a couple of weeks. It's been exciting getting the trailer ready, as well as our campsite in Washington. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions to ask in the future, and I hope I can contribute to these forums in some way.

Jim

Welcome. We took possession of a 2013 Denali 286RLX just two months ago. Though it's a little smaller than the Cardinal we traded, we are very happy with our new home on wheels. Happy trails and safe travels on your first trip.

We have exactly the same trailer and we love this floor plan! We occassionally go to RV shows just to look and are so pleased that nothing else that we see we like as well.
We took a 100 day, 14,000 mile trip in this trailer last summer and it did very well for us.....we liked the TT more when we got back than when we left, and are looking forward to another camping summer.
After you use if for a while, please let us all know how much you like it....and welcome to this great forum!!

Jim.

I remember two different pop-ups when we were raising kids. Wow, the good old days.

Although, very nice moving up into something larger and self contained. Enjoy camping in it, as I know you will. That's why ya bought it.

Congratulations!!!

New trailer

Congrats Jim on the new trailer. DW and I have been looking at that same trip down the west coast. We are planning to take the grandkids to Disney in a couple of years so will likely put the two together. Enjoy your new toy and welcome to the forum.
