Water pump not working

Hello guys, I recently purchaseda 03 30rl tt. Everything works perfectly except the water pump. It's a shurflo tm4.0 extreme series. Has power, water at the strainer, and switch is wworking. Should I mess with it or just replace it. What one would you recommend. I have read good things on the shurflo revolution 4088. What are your thoughts.

Are you saying the pump won't run/start?

Shurflos are my choice of pump, have been for many years. Shop around, RV stores get a hefty price for them.

Order a new one and see if you can't get the seized one free and use it for a backup.

Did water get behind the seal and into the motor?

Check with your local auto parts store, they may have an RV parts catalogue that they order out of.

I knew my local parts store sold some parts, then one day when I was ordering some parts for my truck, the parts guy pulled out an RV catalogue by mistake. I asked him if it was current and could they order out of it. The answers were yes and yes. There prices are significantly lower than an RV dealer to start with, then I get a "good guy discount" too.
