Hey Tanman , it's just a regular Generator/ Inverter it's not going to kill anything

The inverter probably has a surge rate of 3k watts, not continous. Either way, for most instances one wouldn't be drawing that many watts through an inverter unless they were running some heavy stuff.

I used a 2400 watt inverter to run an A/C but I did have a 750 amp hour battery bank using real deep cycle batteries. The same system provided me with daily 120 volt AC for the TV, satellite receiver, satellite internet, lighting, soldering station and a few other things.

So sorry.. I did not realize it was a generator also. I thought it was all inverter. oops

I have (2) Honda 2000 hooked together. Been using them for 4 years and are wonderful. I also installed the by-pass for the house and can use them we\hen at home in case of an emergency. You do minor normal maintenance and they just run and run and run. I get between 7-8 hours on a gallon of gas. Expensive yes, but for me worth every penny.
