Howdy Jim,
I was born and raised in the flat lands of northern Minnesota so I know all about FLAT country. On the other hand, I have traveled a lot in BC, the parts I have driven-ridden in are a long way from all being down hill.

Hey, Dave.
I grew up east of the Rockies too, but I was still in their shadow. I still get chills down the back, when I round that last bend and get the first glimpse.
But really, where I live doesn't matter which way I go it's all downhill. Just one of the benefits of living on top of a mountain. Getting home well, that's a different story.

Howdy Jim,
Well, you got me what else can I say, never thought about living on top of the mountain. After living out west for the last 30 years and being surrounded by mountains I can't stand going back to the flat lands even to visit family and friends, just seems kinda flat.

Had a MDT truck for a couple of years. Liked the ride and being up high. Power and lack of a bed was the down side. Sold it & bought 2012 F-350. Power wise and mpg is way better then the Freightliner I had.
Still have the Teton which weights in close to the Voltage.
Both pictures taken two years apart in South Dakota at a bible camp my wife's sister works at.

finally ready
I dunno. Saw a Sport Chassis Tuesday for the first time. I really like it. For now, my Ram does great. Pulled great last season. Added an ATS Aurora 3000 two weeks ago - can't wait to tow with it tomorrow

Howdy donzinger,
If you decide to drop the big bucks on a MDT, do yourself a real big favor and get one with a large engine in it, many have the same size or slightly larger engine that a one ton, or 450-550 have. Getting an MDT with a small engine is NOT the solution to towing power but it will stop quicker and handle the weight of a large trailer better then a LDT.

Gotcha. Ones I've seen have the 8.3 Cummins. Still undecided. One deciding factor would be that the wife would not drive the HDT if there were ever a time that I could not
