Thanks for the video links I've seen these before. Tried to edit my last post to make some minor corrections. ?.. anyway, hopefully I have the high torque motors in the large slide and thats how they are... slow... I do plug in before extending slides as recommended. Lube has been done as well.

I just timed mine for you. The large slide takes 51 seconds to retract. Same speed out.

Thanks I just timed mine. 61 seconds in, 59 seconds out. Still feels like it's wanting to stall the last foot coming in.

Electric over hydraulic slide will always be faster than straight electric slide.

My slides seem to be moving much better since I lubed them with the recommended spray. For a while, I was having to "assist" my bedroom slide. The last few times out after the lube, it has gone in and out unassisted.

Were you able to access the lube points from inside as well as instructed on the video? I dont see how i would access them on ours.

slide problems
We have a 2013 Voltage 3795 and have had it in the shop several times because the bedroom and living room slides do not retract properly. Have had the living room floor replaced because of dragging and damage to the floor...had the bedroom slide motor replaced...the dealer said the newer motors are just not strong enough to pull those slides in...we have to stand outside and push on the slide sometimes to get it in all the way..I wish you luck with your problem...Happy camping

The newer motors have different gearing. Either way, you should not have to push your slides open or closed. If you do, something is wrong.

I had to hid one side on each of my slides from the outside since I cannot access them inside when they are open.

Another BS video from Lippert??? Per video proper method required both sides to be lubed. Once again this would not be a problem with the slide on the floor with no seals or interior walls to get in the way. Way to go!!!

Just asking here as I haven't tried it yet. Haven't seen my coach in awhile (been in the shop) but couldn't the slide be retracted about halfway to gain access to the inside lube points?

Due to interior walls the only one i can access from the inside is the forward end of the sofa slide.

One side of my living room slide is against the non sliding portion of the sliding glass door. I don't think I can get my hand in between to spray from the inside.

I have the same problem. I can only spray from the outside. Same problem with the kitchen and bedroom.

Have any of you guys noticed a difference in the slide operation after spraying? Mine stopped the popping noise it was making but not until I had operated the slide another half dozen or more times after lubing it. I also have no idea if spraying it made the popping stop.

It did make a difference on mine. I was helping my slides in and out while my wife pushed the button. After lubing I have not been helping them in or out. I still cringe every time I run them in or out. I still get a popping sound occasionally but not nearly as bad as it use to be. I really wish I could see better what I am spraying.
