You do this 3 times and on the 4th time you bring the slide all the way in. Make sure when it is in you also hold the button for 2 seconds after it stops to make sure you are all the way in. This did not work for me today. I was leaving home and brought slide in and for the the first time guess What? They were out of sync and one side wouldn't move and quit. how does this stuff happen just sitting? ?. finally went to control unit, no error codes flashing. As Lippert suggest hit lil button 6 times and hold. Lights started flashing back and forth slide came in smoothly. Ran in and out a couple of time after...fine...how, why they were out of synchronization is a mystery to me... my guess is... it won't be the last time this occurs, and is it the onset of the big failure? ?

A year goes by quickly when you're under a warranty. I'd start doggin on a dealer about this slide problem. They may not find anything at the time but at least you'll have started the paperwork and the base line of the problem.

Not in my mechanical mind and experience has anything ever repaired its own problems so don't bank on it not happening again.

I made dealer aware of it this morning first thing. I'm in Mississippi this week through next week. Just set up slide when out fine. Did here that pop at the end going out. Sometimes it does that other times it dont. Cant stand wondering what if... when, or where this is going to fail. Just use it till that happens I guess.

With no sound at all I would think possibly electrical. Check all the obvious, fuses and circuit breakers. Possibly a pinched wire somewhere? Do the other slides operate at all? These things operate off the 12V system so do other 12V systems work?

Has it been plugged in, ie, battery have a good charge or has it been sitting? If it's been sitting, try plugging it in and giving the batteries a good charge.

If it was plugged in I would think the inverter would power it but it's a good place to start. Was the battery removed when you moved the slide out? I would definitely be checking fuses and even the inverter fuses. This really sounds electrical.

I don't even attempt to type on these silly phones while I'm in a car. It would look like I was typing a foreign language.

I would think the battery would have to be installed for it to work right. The converter needs the battery to work properly. Again, I would think...

I think putting battery back in also will solve the problem. Personally I wouldn't plug into shore power unless battery was installed. Maybe you can.. I'm not sure. But I would think the converter has to use the battery as part of the process of taking 120 volts ac and converting to 12 volts dc. I would also be concerned about over powering 12 volt circuits without the battery as a filter possibly causing them to short out. Please let us know the outcome, inquiring minds need to know. Have a safe trip.

Converter needs a place to put the 12V it puts out. With no battery or a bad battery 12v stuff just wouldn't work. Battery will fix your problem.

Hi, Kathy

There are no dumb questions, just dumb mistakes. I know, I've made my fair share of dumb mistakes because I didn't ask the question.
