They had a "bad batch" and if you've purchased recently you shouldn't see the issue. If you do they're quick to send you replacements. They even covered the labor since I paid to have them installed...

I've used wet drier sheets to get the bugs off the front and shined it up with some Voom but haven't ever got the hose/bucket/brush out while camping.
I've considered using just a touch of soap...
