Hi All,
I've got a 2009 Grand Junction 38' fw, and the teflon/plastic? skid plates are breaking on my slide out. Called factory and since Keystone bought it out, they changed the skid plates, and don't carry the Dutchmen version anymore. Does anyone know of a replacement/fix? or another model that uses same plates? Any help is appreciated! Keep rolling! Thanks. Mark

markmark - sounds like we're in the same boat. Recently purchased a GJ 35tms and skid plate on one side of the slide destroyed itself. I have been in touch with our local dealer who told me the same thing - they're not made anymore. I'm going to contact Thor directly and see who supplied this part to Thor. I'm hearing the dealer shop uses ABS plastic to create a new skid plate. I know one thing, I will definitely be using much longer screws in the replacement and other side as this is what caused the failure in the first place. I'll update as I find out more information.
Would it possible to fabricate some out of stainless steel sheet? I know that is what Lance did when they had issues with the rollers tearing up the bottom of the slides.
